How can I practice STAR?
STAR helps you tell your story in an organized
manner that is clear to the listener. STAR
organizes your thoughts and answers to
explain what you’ve done in the past. By using
this technique, you can paint a picture of your
skills and expertise in the mind of the
prospective employer.
By using STAR, you’re explaining and
documenting your work history in a way that a
prospective employer can fully understand the
situation, challenges, and actions you took.
The STAR System gives them answers about
your behavior as well as your skills and
expertise.
