2. “My dreams of art were lovely, but they're going to take cash, so it's back
to Junkland. I'm not lonely today, so I'm determined to dive all day, if
necessary. I might even dive some after closing time, instead of
looking for a friend, and see if I can find some small things I can carry
in my backpack, after Annalove has closed the shop at five, and
already delivered the bigger items. I need CASH!”
3. Annalove: Regular delivery again today, hun?
“No, thanks, ma'am. I'm keeping the gems, metals and insects I found,
and I'll keep the lamp and the portable stereo. I can carry all those in
my backpack, if I pack it right. But will you buy the furniture I found
today?”
Annalove: Sure! I can sell it at a profit, at the consignment store.
4. “Now the shop's closed, I'll spend the rest of the evening digging for
scrap. It's not valuable as is, but I think I'll be able to find a use for it, in
the future. Then, I have to go tend my garden, before I fall asleep.”
5. “Whoops! I'm glad it's raining, so I don't have to water the garden, but I
lost track of time, and had to dash home, before curfew, and didn't get
to use the all-in-one! Now I'm about to pee myself! Oh, no!”
6. “I was too tired to do anything, so I took a nap in my sleeping bag, when
it started to rain again, and it woke me up, and I peed myself! At least
the rain washed the pee away, and I don't have a nasty mess to clean
up, but I still feel filthy. Rain is not a shower. I have no soap!”
7. “Well, at least I can harvest today's crop, before morning rolls around,
and I miss the day's fruit. I'll need it all to see me through the winter,
after all. Golly, the garden will go dormant soon! Yikes!”
8. “It's almost morning, and I'm just settling down to sleep. This is not
gearing up to be a good day, is it?”
9. “Well, I'm still tired and stinky, but I woke up at seven to harvest and
weed the garden. I'm so grateful for the rain, even if it does come with
lightning strikes! With the rain in the morning, I can tend the garden
early, and won't have to worry about saving up energy for it at the end
of the day. Maybe I can get a nap later on.”
10. “Well, folks, it's not much, but it's a kitchen! I can get a filling meal at the
fire pit, but that's hard during a heavy rain. Now, I can properly store all
my produce, and I can make real meals, like autumn salad. I found a
microwave, and when I learn to cook better, I'm sure I can make some
good meals with it. For now, I'll stick with the safe salad. But I can
make a big one, with just one lettuce, and store leftovers for fast meals,
later, while stretching out my supplies!
11. “Yummy! My first real meal since I left home. And since I just got my first
harvest of kona beans, I'll get a little energy boost for 'dessert' so I can
go dig for more cash. Although, with the day almost gone, perhaps I'd
better try something other than dumpster diving this afternoon. I could
go back to the fishing hole, see if there are other plants to harvest, and
try my hand at fishing again. It's good to have a well-stocked fridge!”
12. “Dripping and stinky and already bladdery again. And yet, it's the best
dining experience I've had in a very, Very long time. Yes, I'll eat my
coffee bean, stop off at Junkland to use the all-in-one, and then go to
the fishing hole to be drenched and stock up the fridge for winter. It will
be a nice change, at any rate, and perhaps I'll meet a child or teen and
have a chance to socialize. And who knows? I might just catch
something interesting.”
13. “I'm cold and wet and suffering from a caffeine crash. Maybe that coffee
bean wasn't such a great idea? Or maybe it just works better run
through a coffee maker? Well, I'll fish as long as I can, then go home
for an early bed. All my gardening chores are done, and I have
prepared food in the fridge, so it will be OK.”
14. “Ugh. I'm starting to feel lonely again. I hope someone comes to
Junkland, someone for me to talk to. Otherwise it's just lonely
dumpster diving until I build up some walls and figure out how to get a
phone to work.”
A/N: I can't use her cell phone, or any phone, until she has a bedroom, a
living room, and a bathroom. Separate rooms!
15. “Now this is more like it! I'm clean and dry, well rested, and ready to start
the day with a good breakfast. And although I'll probably need to go
harvest again, I do believe one more trip to the fishing hole will give me
everything I need to get through the winter, thanks to being able to
stretch the food out with cooking and leftovers. Of course, a real stove
will give me more options than the microwave. Pancakes! Fish and
chips! I'll have to get some cookbooks, I think.”
16. “But there won't be a harvest today. It's still early fall, but it's cold enough
to put the plants dormant. I hope it will warm up again before winter.
No fishing, either, so I'll go to Junkland, and hopefully I won't freeze.
Maybe I can go inside and read a bit, to warm up, if it gets too cold for
me.”
18. “No deliveries today. Just selling. I'm keeping the pink flamingo, though!
So cute! And it fits easily into my backpack. The gem and metals I'm
keeping, and the insects, but the rest is all yours.”
Annalove: Alrighty, then. Good doin' business with ya.
19. “Please talk to me, teen boy! I'm absolutely desolate! Even with all my
other moods in the green, I'm too miserable to study cooking.”
Waylon: Huh? Uh, cute girl alert! Cute girl alert! Run away!
“NO! PLEASE! I need your help!
Waylon: You need help? Uhhh, OK?
20. “You see, Waylon, I actually am a runaway. I can't talk to any adults,
except during business hours, doing business things, like selling and
buying at the shop. And living alone, with no telephone, I'm incredibly
lonely.”
Waylon: No telephone?! How do you LIVE?!
“Well, I go out, sometimes, and look for teens and children.”
21. “I figure it's safe to talk to teens and children. They won't turn me in to
the cops, right? You won't turn me in to the cops, will you?”
Waylon: No. That would be a crummy thing to do. I mean, you must
have had it really bad to run away from home. Were your parents that
mean to you?
22. “No, my parents were great! They loved me, and I loved them. But the
man who killed them wants to kill me, too, so I had no choice but to run
away and hide. If the cops find me, he'll hear about it, and come and
kill me, too! So you understand how important it is to me to be hidden.
But it's also just so lonely! Look, maybe you'd like to come visit me,
sometimes? Or I could visit you? I'd really like that, a lot.”
23. Waylon: Gee, I'd love to, but I'm kind of ravenous right now. Maybe I'll
see you around?
“Yeah, maybe. Well, thanks for the chat. It helped a bit.”
Waylon: I'm glad it helped a bit. Now, I have to get some food, before I
attack someone, you know? Werewolves have limits.
24. “Awww, puppies! Now, if I had a pet, I would never be lonely! But pets
are expensive, and I haven't even sorted out a house for myself, yet.
But smooching and hugging on you will help me feel good today, won't
it, little cutie?”
25. “A gaming system? Sell it! A bookcase? WITH BOOKS?! I'm keeping
that, for sure! I can learn how to cook all by myself, at home, now.
Yaaay!”
26. “Hey, this all-in-one is broken! I wonder if I can salvage it, like the other
messed up furniture here, and then take it home and fix it up for my
own use? I'm already paying a delivery fee for the bookcase, after all.”
27. “Let's see, now. If I clonk here, and whack there, and thump over here...”
28. “YES! I repaired it! I have a puddle, but I also have my very own fully-
functional outhouse! HOORAY! This is the best day, yet!”
30. “I've been holding onto the wish to increase my photography skill, and so
I took a few pictures. They really aren't worth the cost of the film, yet,
but this one I just had to hang on my wall. My pretty pink flamingo,
being photo-bombed by a gnome! How cute!”
31. “Huh. I wonder if Annalove will ever replace the outhouse here. Surely,
she must need it herself, from time to time. But then again, they are
awfully expensive. It will take a lot of delivery fees and consignment
profits to be able to afford a new one.”
32. “Just selling again today, ma'am. I'm more interested in cash than in
gaming systems and end tables.”
Annalove: Well, alright. So, happy Spooky Day. Are you going trick or
treating tonight?
“Oh, I can do that! That sounds fun. I think I will, thanks! And happy
Spooky Day to you, too.”
33. “What do you think? I put it together from scrips and scraps I found
here.”
Annalove: I think you look cute, although you also really stink.
“I'll shower when I get home. I can do that, now! But if I shower before
trick or treating, I'll lose my make-up, so I can't do that. Oh, well.
Stinky it is. I'm Stinky the Bunny-Wabbit! I'll eat your carrots!”
34. “Wow, I hope this doesn't take too long. I'm really tired. I was up way too
late last night.”
35. “Well, that was disappointing. While I was on my way to the houses for
trick or treat, everyone left! I guess they went to the harvest festival, or
something, but I just went home. So tired!”
36. “I fell asleep so early last night, now I'm up before five in the morning.
But it's storming topside, so I'm just going to study cooking for a while,
until it clears up or gets light out.”
37. “Fall is almost over. I don't have much time left for fishing, but I do want
to try to catch a small variety of fish. I also want to go to that
consignment store Annalove mentioned. I think I can make some good
money by cutting the gems and selling them. I'll skip the dumpsters
today.”

38. “Nothing's available for harvest, but at least I can fish at the fishing hole.
I'll see what I can catch this morning, and hit up the consignment store
this afternoon. I wonder if they buy fish?”
39. “Oooh, a chameleon! Should I keep it as a pet, for socialization, or sell it
for cash?”
40. “For $670? I'm selling it. Still, I'll keep my eyes peeled for other pets that
aren't worth selling but would keep me company on those long winter
days.”
41. “I can get all those gems and geodes I've collected cut for free, if I don't
mind doing it myself. The alchemy shop is great!”
42. “The regular consignment shop is right next door, and the elixir shop
buys and sells different things. Let's see what they both have to offer?”
43. Serena: I'll buy all your fish, and sell you this Hikon camera. It's the best
camera on the market, and you'll be able to take pictures that are
actually profitable, in no time!
“Wow! It would be nice to be able to make a living from my art. And I
can get more cash from selling things, and dumpster diving. I'll take it!”
44. Kyle: Sure, I'll take your cut gems, and your gem dust, too. Would you
be interested in any of our fine elixirs, or perhaps ingredients to mix
your own?
“Actually, I'll take the Mycenae, spotlight mushrooms and glow orbs, and
I'll take the book on alchemy, as well. I think it would be nice to know
how to make my own elixirs. And I see you have a few uncut gems for
sale. I'll take those, as well.”
45. “I can cut them into hearts, now! From this moment on, any gem I find
will be cut into a heart, unless I luck out and find tiberium! Soon, the
money from consignments will be rolling in, and I'll make up the cost of
that Hikon camera very quickly.”
46. “So, how much for these three gems?”
Kyle: Wow! Gem hearts! Those three, plus the dust, will surely fetch
over $2000, and that's on top of all the other gems you already put up
for consignment. If you fill out this form, here, I'll direct deposit your
profits right into your cash account, after they sell tomorrow.
“Alright. And I'll see you again, with more gems, when I find them.”
47. “I put all the fish I caught this morning up for consignment. Now, I need
to catch some more to fill the fridge. Oooh, a new type! Boy, kissing
gourami look weird.”
48. “It's the last day of fall and it's raining up top again. My goodness, but
this season has gone by quickly. I transferred all my photos from my
original camera to my Hikon, and sold it off, to fund future photos. But
the consignment store sold a book on basic photography, as well as
basic martial arts! I think I'll read up before I spend money on more
pictures. But looking through those old photos, I know I want a wall
dedicated to that history, once my house is complete.”
49. “Weeding again for the last time this year. I doubt I'll need to weed
during the winter.”
50. “Collecting some gems and metals. I need to use some of my
consignment money to send the metals I have off for smelting. I have
collected enough of a variety of metals, that I should get extra ingots
back, which makes it even more profitable.”
51. “Once again, though, I am desolate with loneliness, and I can't talk to the
adults I see. If I find a stray animal, I'm adopting it, no matter how
valuable it may be. I need a friend!”
52. “I have found several more gems, but surely there's a small animal
around here somewhere that I can adopt! Maybe I should have kept
that salamander, after all. But I so wanted the money.”
53. “Hello, light beetle! Maybe I can talk to you? Or maybe I can talk to a
fish? Do you have any suggestions where I can find a friend?”
54. “Oh, how cute! I don't know which I want to keep, the pygmy hedgehog
or the lizard.”
55. “Ow! The lizard bit me! OK, pygmy hedgehog it is. It is small, cute,
adorable, and if I ever get a phone, it will sell for a pretty penny.”
56. “Alright, Hedgelet! I hope you like your terrarium. It cost as much as
you're worth. Wait, actually a little bit less. You're very precious, little
Hedgelet, since you're both rare, and my only true friend. I will love you
and pet you and feed you and clean your terrarium, and make you
happy. I am so glad I sold those gems! All together, plus the fish, I
earned just over $6000 in consignment today!”
57. “Awww. Hedgelet boosted my fun, but I'm still incredibly lonely. I didn't
get any social boost, at all. I guess you just can't talk to a hedgehog.
Well, I don't care. I'm keeping it. Hedgelet is just too cute.”
58. “Who needs friends, anyway? I'm halfway through the year, and I'm still
alive, and that's all that matters.”
A/N: Fall sure went fast! I have decided not to expand/divide the house,
and see how well she continues without a phone. She made it half-way
