3. Imagebuilders B.V. have provided shop interiors for more than 27 years, working with over 85 professionals in the Netherlands, an office in China and diverse partners in Eastern Europe. Our wide range of shop fitting projects spans the entire process, from concept to production and from logistics to the installation of shop interiors. We are proud to count highly reputable brand stores, including Adidas, Auping, Levi Strauss Europe, Kipling, Tommy Hilfiger and Under Armour among our clients. The reason why we have decided to look for suitable partners is the increase in demand both from new and existing clients, which is too swift for autonomous growth of our company. Clients and projects are also geographically wider ranged. This has prompted our decision to look for a small number of high-quality partners throughout Europe, sizeable enough for us to outsource work to. We aim to build up a long-term partnership with such companies in realizing a wide range of shop interiors projects. The flagship store at Schildergrasse 47 has a floor area of no less than 1,000 m2. There are three storeys, where all the Hilfiger collections are displayed, along with accessories, shoes, underwear and bags. The ground floor has been designed in dark ash and walnut, ranging through to oak colours. The first floor is home to ladies' wear, lingerie and accessories, performed by Imagebuilders in a totally new concept. The use of antique brass features immediately catches the eye on this 350 m2 floor. This new concept was developed in close consultation between Tommy Hilfiger Europe and Imagebuilders. All in all, a store with style!

In the new concept, called Revolution 2, many of the materials used have a “lived in” appearance. The wood, steel and brickwork reflect this feeling in particular. In the autumn of 2009, ten Revolution 2 stores were installed in Russia and in 2010 stores will be opened and rebuilt to this new concept throughout Europe.

The philosophy behind the new formula is to position the SNS “ brand” more clearly in the market. The design produced by VBAT was technically developed by Imagebuilders, following which the production techniques and materials to be used were chosen in consultation with the client. The most striking feature of the shops is the large plastic walls on which various services are offered. SNS REAAL’s intention is to open and restyle 300 of these branches in the next two years.

Apart from the fact that Imagebuilders are one of the suppliers of the Tommy Hilfiger stores, we have now been commissioned to roll out the TH shop in shop concept in countries outside the German-speaking area. In addition to the existing TH account team, two new colleagues have therefore been recruited who will focus entirely on implementing the TH shops in shops in the years to come. The most notable project ate the moment is the 150m2 shop in shop in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

In the presentation of its street wear and sports accessories collection, Adidas uses the metaphor of an ‘atelier’: a place where the open character of the space provides sufficient inspiration for creativity. The explicit industrial “look and feel” of the furniture and walls are sure to grab the attention. The white and plainly coated metal has an open design.
