Education

He received the Ph.D. degree from the Dipartimento Informatica e Telecomunicazioni (DIT), Università degli studi di Trento, Trento, Italy, in February 2005. He worked as scientist at GraphiTech, Italy from 2005 to 2007. He was as a JSPS Postdoc at Media Integrated Communication Lab. (MICL), Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, he serves as a researcher in MultiMedia Signal Processing and Understanding LAB (mmLAB) - University of Trento, Itsaly. Currently, he works as researcher for NICT, Japan His main interests include multimedia retrieval, event detection, video surveillance, data mining, computer vision, and pattern recognition.
