Launched in 1998 Reggae Carifest was initially implemented principally for uniting the West Indian/Caribbean Culture for
one full day of cultural awareness, consciousness and celebration of the culture here in the United States. Since its
inception Reggae Carifest has grown exceptionally catering to all genuine cultural expressions and aesthetics and is
received by an eclectic group of people hailing from all walks of life. Reggae Carifest is an exhibition of vision for the arts
and the community in the presence of its festival. Reggae Carifest is more than an event it is a cultural celebration.

CORPORATE IMAGE ENHANCEMENT
Sponsors will enhance their corporate image by associating themselves with Carifest/C.A.R.E.S. Festival and its
associated charities. Over the years this event has been recognized as one of the longest lasting festivals in the United
States, has been featured in many publications and has received numerous awards. Carifest/C.A.R.E.S 2008 benefiting
Keep A Child Alive and AID’S Awareness as a whole is proud to invite you to promote and present your company and its
products at the 10th Annual Reggae Carifest celebration. This sponsorship request package is designed to familiarize your
company with The 10th Annual Reggae Carifest celebration and the benefits of sponsoring this event extravaganza.
Carifest/C.A.R.E.S 2008 benefiting Keep A Child Alive Foundation will take place in NYC on Sunday July 6th, 2008 at the
USTA National Tennis Center,Flushing NY, 11368. $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to Keep a Child Alive
Foundation . This will be a a star-studded mega musical show with performances by Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Eek A Mouse,
Groundation, Midnite and Joseph Israel among other well known and up and coming performing artists.

Advertising agencies and their clients can benefit from sponsoring this event based on media exposure, corporate image
enhancement, networking, sales and the strong public relations value attributed to being involved in such an event. As a
sponsor, you will reach the most diverse, multi-cultural audience anywhere in America. Now in its 10th year Reggae
Carifest continues as one of the most successful running reggae festivals in the US. Carifest/C.A.R.E.S. benefiting Keep
A Child Alive Foundation offers sponsors the opportunity to enhance their image and create product awareness. We will
provide multiple opportunities for your company to appear in national, regional and local print, radio and television
broadcast outlets. Web links for placement on our website provide both national and international exposure.

REACHING A TARGETED AUDIENCE
The Annual Reggae Carifest provides a unique vehicle by which to reach an extremely diverse market. Your company will
receive high visibility pre and post marketing promotions during the festival. This includes: 150,000 posters and fliers that
will be distributed in the weeks prior to the event throughout the NY, NJ, CT, Tri-State Area; 2-3-month radio and television
broadcast promotions targeting key markets in the NY, NJ, CT, Tri-State Area; Full page print ads in the following
publications: NY Daily News, Caribbean Life, Caribbean Link, and a host of others throughout the NY, NJ, CT, Tri-State
Area.

NETWORKING
Through a series of ancillary events such as press parties, after-festival gatherings, volunteer appreciation parties and
VIP/Sponsor Hospitality Area access, sponsors are offered an avenue to network themselves with other sponsors. This
important opportunity can help companies achieve and further develop business goals with others of similar interests.

locations in all markets but targeting Reggae,Urban and International areas.

• Barber Shops, Nail & Hair Salons, Mom & Pop Retail shops, Auto Detail Stores, Community

TITLE SPONSOR PACKAGE $30,000.00 - $75,000.00
The Title sponsorship package offers your company the full opportunity to make significant
impressions in the Urban, International/Caribbean Reggae market. The Title sponsor is
the driving force of this years annual Reggae Carifest. The Title sponsor will have the
highest exposure of the events in all aspects of promotions, as well as full access to the
concert and step and repeat signage.

Sponsor is part of the driving force of this years annual Reggae Carifest. The Executive
sponsor will have the exposure of the events in all aspects of promotions, as well as full
access to the concert and step and repeat signage.

 •    Logo placement East and West wing of stage, placement on all Festival signage,
      advertisement, and press releases with strong visibility for DVD.

Over the years this event has been recognized as one of the longest lasting festivals in the United States, has been featured in many publications and has received numerous awards.
