• Latest survey by Tecmark in UK of 2,000 smartphone owners 
finds that the average UK smartphone owner looks at their 
phone 221 times per day 
• Thats once every 4 minutes and 18 seconds of every waking 
hour 
• We also stare at the phone screen now 3 hours per day on 
average, so 18.9% of the time we are awake

Psychology finds that children who send lots of SMS text messages
