BACKGROUND & RESEARCH
LIKEME - WHERE DID THE IDEA COME FROM?
▸ An online survey and in depth interviews were conducted with
young professionals who are currently sharing a house. The key
findings from the research were:
▸ 56% said living with housemates impacted on their wellbeing
▸ 89% of those surveyed said they used WhatsApp to
communicate with housemates
▸ Although different age groups had varying social needs most
said they preferred living with others than living alone

USER TESTING OF THE APP
USER TESTING
A number of different using testing
phases were conducted with various
users. They had set tasks they had to
complete for example register as a
new user. Once they had completed
this task they were asked for their
feedback. User observations were
conducted to see how users
interacted with the flow of the app
and overall navigation.
A number of changes were made to
the prototype including changing the
transitions between screens.
