garments to European Union countries per annum and earning 80 Million USD for the
country. Fakir Fashion Limited started its journey in 2009 and become a world class knit
garments company in Bangladesh. Total number of workforce in FFL is around 7,700.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Recruited as Chief Financial Officer with the full responsibility of Finance & Accounts and
Export commercial operations. Direct line reporting to Managing Director and supervise a 41
management staff team including the production audit. Achieved quick success in the below
areas.
 Recovery of long pending bills receivable amounting USD 2.5 Million.
 Collection of cash incentive pending from export year 2012
 Monthly accounts submission on 8th of each month
 Prepare integrated financial report format in excel for monthly OPPS review
 Started S&OP meeting along with the team
 Prepare and implement five operational policies
As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) I’m responsible for the below activities but not limiting to
these.
Planning:
 Responsible to assist and prepare long / short term financial operation plan to meet
Board’s objective ensuring synergy and new value creation.
 Responsible to prepare Annual Operational Plan (AOP) as per company’s mission &
objective. And also responsible to establish and up-date procedures, systems & control to
implement the plan.
 Develop performance measures (key Performance Indicator-KPIs) that supports the
company’s strategic planning.
Operation:
 As a member of chief executive committee participate in key decision making process.

 Oversee the management and coordination of all periodical financial transactions and
activities for the organization.
 Ensure efficient treasury operation through synergy, cost effectiveness, optimum working
capital and bank financing.
 Drive Business Analysis & Benchmarking, Cost/Expenses review and effective control
measures in place.
 Investments proposal and Business Case preparation and due diligence including project
financing options before submitting to Board.
 Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely
financial recommendations to Board for decision making.
 Responsible to squeeze the working capital by focusing on receivables, payables and
inventory management.
 Monitor the activities of the F&A and Export commercial operations. Review the auditor’s
reports for these operations to ensure compliance. Developing necessary procedures
and action plan for these operations is a key requirement.
 As a project owner, responsible to implement the ERP (Platform) and taking full
advantage from it.
Financial Information & Reporting:
 Responsible to provide all financial information like Income Statement, Balance sheet,
cash flow statement etc. and maintain accuracy and timeline.
 Responsible for implementing and updating dashboard to monitor Key Performance
Indicator (KPIs).
 Responsible to prepare financial reporting for tax purpose to minimize the tax burden.
Risk Management:
 Ensure the effective internal control and discipline in all areas supportive to excellence in
operations.
 Ensure compliance to all regulatory and statutory requirements including Tax/VAT.
 Ensure appropriate policies and SOPs are in place.
 Ensure all the business transactions are passing through ERP for establishing strong
control process across the organization.
 Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
People & Others:
 Enhance the reputation of the company with external bodies, stakeholders to ensure that
the reputation and profile of the company is befitting the company.
 Train the Finance & Commercial and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of
financial management matters.
