PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
ALCATEL-LUCENT, Murray Hill, NJ 1996 – 2015
2. Performance Assurance, Network Level Validation 2012 – 2015
• Saved cost and time by creating field-like environment in lab, reproducing major field issues and
reducing future events.
• Identified and solved complex issues by providing:
o KPI testing; accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, Latency, and Regression.
o KPI test definitions, test conditions and target specifications.
o Release and regression testing from LA2 to LR15.1.
o Supporting tool development for post-processing and automation.
o Single / multi UE testing with throughput, latency, mobility measurements from the user
perspective.
o Average and full load testing using 100+ real UEs and network level performance
characterization using NPO with Sprint, VzW, AT&T, and generic ALU templates.

ALCATEL-LUCENT (Continued)
• Supported field issues; reproducing field issues in lab environment using combination of call
cabinets comprising of 100+ real Android smart phones; UL / DL interference, variable timing
advance and fading, and traffic modeling for Manhattan like environment including comparable
traffic activities and events statistics.
• Provided numerous contributions and critical reviews for End-to-End and RAN KPI reference
documents for each release, serving as member of KPI board.
• Improved customer relations by:
o Identifying product issues and filling more than 12 change requests over previous 3 releases.
o Defining, negotiating, base-lining, testing, and presenting KPIs for major North American
customers including Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint.
o Monitoring customer KPI trends across different releases and under various traffic models
and RF conditions.
o Aligning theoretical targets with actual test results and adjusting internal targets based on
test results and customer requirements.
• Used complex and expensive equipment, emulating LTE beam-forming and beam-steering in lab
environment for Sprint to evaluate performance of beam-forming features of ALU product.
Voice Data 2005 – 2012
• Designed and developed Lucent Video Analysis Tool (LVAT) for subjective video quality
characterization over wireless network, full and non-reference video quality tool.
• Improved quality by:
o Completing IMS / VoLTE testing and performance characterization.
o Providing video media latency, lip-sync, jitter, freezing measurements and perceptual
evaluation.
o Focusing on VoLTE performance characterization and testing, end user QOE, jitter, packet
latency, mouth to ear delay, and voice quality (Mean Opinion Score-MOS).
o Testing eMBMS basic functionality and performance characterization.
• Delivered 1
st
video telephony, video streaming, and video surveillance field testing and
performance characterization in Boston-Ph4 and Erie trials using LVAT tool.
• Provided leadership by serving as technical lead for Verizon Erie Fixed Wireless LTE and
Alcatel-Ericsson joint interworking AERI trials.
4. Bell Labs, Advanced Technologies 1996 – 2005
Lucent Digital Radio (LDR) later spun-off company.
• Delivered OFDM-based Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) system for US terrestrial FM / AM
radio networks, utilizing video watermarking for media tracking and time stamping applications
using novel color-based watermarking technology.
