Dr. AH Monjurul KABIR, a senior Governance, Rule of Law, and Public Sector Management expert, is currently the Programme Adviser and Chief of Section, Asia and the Pacific at UN Women HQ in New York. Prior to this, he was the Practice Team Leader/Policy Adviser, and, Regional Project Manager for Governance and Human Rights for UNDP Europe and Central Asia. Mr. Kabir served as the Global Policy and Knowledge Management Specialist with UNDP HQ in New York. Previously, he served as the Legislative Adviser to the Afghan National Assembly and contributed to the establishment of the new Afghan Parliament.
