Duties:
The role is to provide technical guidance, leadership and direction in a project
engineering role.
As a Project Engineer I am responsible for preparing of tender documents of the
projects and, on site, ensuring the projects are executed in adherence to all applicable
codes and standards. I assist in the scoping, regulatory and approval activities of
projects, and monitor the engineering consulting firm’s progress in budgeting,
planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of work related to projects. I also
provide project support in planning of future infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
 Preparing engineering tendering documents; ITT, Project Statement of
Requirements, SOW, Basis of Design, Specifications...etc.
 Work with the Project Manager and as part of a corporate multi-department
team to scope, plan, develop and execute a variety of projects for OMV oil
facilities. I am responsible for multiple projects.
 Work closely OMV engineering department, construction management team,
and asset development team to plan, schedule, implement and ensure the
proper execution of various infrastructure projects.
 Proactively monitor cost and schedule against deliverables for the various
infrastructure projects, and work to resolve any delays or scheduling issues.

 Participate in design reviews and projects meetings.
 Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental
policies, procedures and approvals. Coordinate project development on these
activities with the appropriate consultant authorities.
 Assist in project managing and planning and making key decisions.
 Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues.
