GS E&C, from October 2014 till now as a Piping Engineer Assistant
Manger for the project of EGYPTIAN REFINING COMPANY (ERC)
Duties including
Supervision/monitoring all subcontractors’ site activities.
Verify all material specifications with material coordinators prior to deliver for
fabrication.
Review the drawings through 3D Modeling, ZWCAD, and ProCAD&Cadworx.
Revisie the drawings and check all material take off.
Ensure that all construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are
instructed in and comply with all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and
Security (HSES) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and
instructions and Client requirements
Ensure that construction contractors working within his discipline adhere
strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings,
Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site Instructions
Responsible for the HSES and quality aspects of the work within assigned

accordance with the project schedule
Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job
instructions, material deliveries and tools applicable to his/her particular
discipline and area of work
In conjunction with the contractors’ supervision, planning engineers and the
Construction Engineer, develop detailed daily and weekly work plans in
accordance with the overall planning schedule
Inform the Discipline Superintendent on specific areas where the
programme needs to be adjusted in accordance with site conditions and
material deliveries
Responsible for monitoring the discipline and timekeeping of contractors’
staff and labour in a defined work area, identifying any disciplinary action
required, and informing the relevant Discipline Superintendent
Review the received drawings P&ID, GA, Isometrics, Above/underground
piping.
Monitoring the Fabrication shop activities via daily productivity report.

Review erection planning, work procedures, inspection test plans, safety

Ensure that all quality related aspects are in line with the project

Inspection of delivered materials as per specification, quantity and approval,
Attend weekly progress meeting and prepare minutes of meeting,
Maintain the site daily with erection progress records, quantum of work
done, prepare daily reports in line with project procedure,

2013 as a senior mechanical engineer, Piping Superintendent for
Giza North Power Plant compined cycle 1500 MW Project, Egypt

Duties including following up the sub-contactor for all Piping activities in
ModuleӀ , ModuleӀӀ as :
Manufacture and erection of piping for services and process units and
systems as
Natural gas, steam (high, medium and Low Pressure),instrument air &
service air, Nitrogen, Lubricating Oil systems, fire fighting systems, cooling
systems, and water treatment Systems ….etc.
Installation for variable kinds of pipe supports.
Using international standards and regulations for mechanical and piping
activities as API, ASME, DIN.
Prepare site surveys, reports and documents for assigned Projects in
accordance with relevant standards.
Optimize site modifications in accordance with design requirements.
Proceed Hydro-Test activities.
 Orascom construction Industries, from May 2009 till December
2012 as a senior mechanical construction engineer and piping
deputy manger for Sorfert Fertilizer Complex for AMONIA and
UREA Project ,Algeria, Under supervision of Uhde (ThyssenKrupp).

air, Chemical Dosing, Nitrogen, Lubricating Oil systems, fire fighting systems,

Using international standards and regulations for mechanical and piping
activities as API, ASME, DIN.
Prepare site surveys, reports and documents for assigned Projects in
accordance with relevant standards.

4. Determine the manpower needed in accordance with available jobs and
relevant to time schedule for each job.
