From the site: This unique form of alphabet art is the process of
photographing everyday objects that resemble letters of the
alphabet, then arranging the photographs in a collage to create any
name or word. Alphabet Photography Inc. is the original and
leading company in the letter art industry, and boasts the largest
collection of photographs collected from around the world.

3.

Your project will focus on spelling a word according to a theme.

4.

First, pick a theme. State this in a single word that is at least (six
letters, no more than fourteen).

5.

Take pictures that correspond to this theme. For instance, if my
word was P-L-A-I-N-F-I-E-L-D, I might take pictures around the
high school.

6.

Your letter pictures should match your theme!

7.

Edit these photos:
•
•

edit to emphasize the letter

•

use high contrast and exposure, shadow/highlight, and
photo filter

•
8.

choose color, b&w or sepia (or color tint)

combine the letters to spell the word

make a PowerPoint that includes:
•

standard parts of a PowerPoint presentation (like our other
projects)

•

one slide with all the letters combined

•

individual slides with individual letter pictures
