Baugain 3k Holding is the exploring associated company of the pioneer mineral producer of Sri Lanka, initiated in
1958.
This Company had been established solely to cater marketing all minerals in demand to reputed companies around
the globe. The prime firm initiated mining of mineral based produces including of its customer required processing
during 1958.
Since the introduction of minerals resources to Sri Lanka the necessity for local market persisted with requirements
and highlighted a fresh era in the mineral market of Sri Lanka. We do have the experience in mining and mineral
processing, where our company now acclaimed as the Pioneer producer of Minerals in Sri Lanka supplying the
plantations sector with processed Dolomite and mineral supporting requiring industries included with other
minerals. Our Mines are based in Sri Lanka and India.

4. (2) Dolomite
We offer a highly versatile range of mineral Natural Dolomite which is used in various industries. Dolomite is
a double carbonate of calcium and magnesium and it exhibits a granular structure. It has high natural
whiteness and its noted for their ease of dispersion. Its use improves properties such as wheatherability,
reduces shrinkage, fissure development and water absorption. We use best quality machines to ensure the
quality of our Dolomite Mineral. We also provide with Dolomite Chips. We have carved a niche as one of the

5. (3) Quartz
We bring the finest Natural Quartz forth to suffice the fierce requirements of end users. The most important distinction
between the types of quartz is that one is of macrocrystalline, which is individual crystal visible to the unaided eye, and the
other is microcrystalline or cryptocrystalline varieties, aggregates of crystals visible only under high magnification. Chalcedony
is the generic term for cryptocrystalline quartz. The transparent variety tends to be microcrystalline and the cryptocrystalline
varieties are either translucent or mostly opaque.It has a hexagonal crystal structure and is made of trifocal crystallized silica.
It is most varied in terms of varieties, colors and forms. Also specialized for ultra high products in the electronic and fibre
optic industries, and fused Silicate quartz for condensers.

6. (4) Silica Sand
Silica sand is used throughout the world, and in so many different ways it is hard to imagine a world without it. From water
filtration, to glass manufacture, to industrial casting, to sand blasting, to producing concrete, to adding texture to slick roads,
silica sand impacts every aspect of daily life. Many industrial suppliers carry silica sand in bulk quantities, while some smaller
household stores sell it in smaller amounts for home or home construction use. One of the major uses of silica sand in the
modern world is as an ingredient in industrial concrete. Silica sand produces the bulk of a great deal of concrete, although some
concrete bypasses its use for safety and strength reasons.
Silica sands have a large number of other industrial uses depending on their characteristics. Production of glass foundry sand

7. (5) Feldspar
Our factory is , highly qualified for the massive production of any ore of our productions including feldspar.Our feldspar is
used in various industries:like the industry of ceramics, glass, and ultra heating processes.
Feldspar is the most common rock-forming mineral (about 60% of the earth’s crust). The mineral name feldspar is derived
from the German words feld + spar. Feldspar minerals are usually white or very light in color, have a hardness of 6 on the
Mohs’ Scale of Hardness and perfect to good cleavage (plane of breakage) in two directions. Feldspar is a common name that
applies to a group of minerals with a general chemical formula of x Al(Al,Si)3O8, where x can be sodium (Na) and/or calcium
(Ca) and/or potassium (K). (Specific compositional varieties (i.e. albite, microcline…) are discussed under Mineral
Descriptions). Feldspar weathers to kaolin which is the main clay mineral used in ceramics and fine pottery.

Hydrated Lime is produced either by adding water to burned lime or by absorbing moisture from the air. Our Hydrated Lime
Powder is processed under the specific technical parameters of moisture, acid insoluble, mesh size, etc. Our Hydrated Lime
finds extensive uses in metallurgy, pulp and paper, chemicals, water treatment, sewage treatment, industrial trade waste,
Flue Gas Desulfurization, Solid Wastes Disposal and building materials industry. Our Hydrated Lime is also applicable in
Food & Food by Products like, Dairy Industry, Sugar Industry, Animal Glue and Gelatin Industries, Baking Industry etc. We

We provide high quality natural calcite powder, pure calcite powder and calcite minerals. The unmatched quality and unbeatable

Calcium hydroxide, traditionally called slaked lime, is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a
colorless crystal or white powder and is obtained when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or "slaked" with
water. It has many names including hydrated lime, builders lime, slack lime, cal, or pickling lime. It is of low toxicity and finds
many applications, including for food. The Chemical composition as follows;
