This document provides an overview of an online physical science class, including:
1) An introduction to the Elluminate tools for participation and interaction.
2) Details on course structure, expectations, and policies - such as multiple choice quizzes each unit, written assignments, group projects, and a redo policy for low scores.
3) A scavenger hunt activity for students to familiarize themselves with the course navigation and materials.

25. Redo policy If you get less than a 60% grade on an assignment (or if I feel you could add more or misunderstood something) you’ll get the assignment back to modify/redo. If you get a low score on a quiz or test you can call or email me to request a booster document.
26. Academic honesty Your work should be written by you. Plagiarism is when you copy without giving credit to the original author. Citing sources at the end of a paper is not the same as giving credit. Let’s look at a site together: http://science.widener.edu/svb/essay/plagiar.html
