4. Communication
Communication is a Latin word which means ‘to
share’. It is the sharing of information between
different individuals. It includes the sharing of
ideas, concepts, imaginations, behaviours and
written content. The transfer of information from
one place to another. This transfer of information
can be conducted in different ways.
Communication is a simple process, yet showing
complexity in some aspects. Different ways of
communication and the distances over which
one is required to transfer the information make
the process complicated.
5. Communication
Communication is a Latin word which
means ‘to share’. Communication is
sending and receiving information between
two or more people.
The person sending the message is
referred to as the sender.
The person receiving the information is
called the receiver. The information
conveyed can include facts, ideas,
concepts, opinions, beliefs, attitudes,
instructions and even emotions.
6. Element of
Communication
There are three elements necessary
to conduct a communication i.e. the
sender, a medium (the platform over
which information is conducted) and
a recipient. The sender is the most
involved person with a full
understanding of that matter which
he wants to deliver.
On the other hand, the receiver does
not necessarily know about the
sender and the subject of
information which the sender aims to
deliver.

7. Step of
Communication
The communication process is split into three
major steps. This includes the thought,
encoding and decoding.
The thought is the subject of information that
exists in sender’s mind.
When the sender transforms his thoughts,
ideas or concepts into verbal speech or a
written message, then this is known as
encoding. Encoding refers to the encryption
of ideas from the perspective of the sender.
8. When the message is
received by the receiver,
the recipient reads and
understands it. He may
translate the information to
better understand it. So
decoding refers to the
interpretation of
information from the
perspective of the receiver.
9. VERBAL

Verbal communication is the communication used to
express our thoughts, information and opinions in the form

the written material, the words are used to communicate .
Having understanding of language is necessary for effective

them to communicate effectively.

20. Non-Verbal
Communication
Gohar Ali
Non-verbal communication is the Transmission of
message or signal without Through a non-verbal
platform…
In business , our non-verbel communication speaks
volumes ..we are expected to act and appear a certain
way in the work place to be considered professional
..people around us pick up on the way we carry
ourselves and translate those suggestion into level of
energy interest and respect…
´The only channel we have for non verbel
communication is our body , but there are multiple
carriers within it..
21. Example of Non-
Verbal
Communication
Body language , eye contact are the loudest of
non-verbal communication …Leaning back in a
chair with an expression face comes across as
disinterested and unfocused ..on the other lively
hand , sitting up straight and looking curiously into
the speaker ,eyes conveys that you are
understanding the information being presented to
you, even if that’s not really the case…
´Part of non-verbal communication that are often
forgotten are our appearance and proxemic ..The
way dress ,keep our hair , and stay generally
clean speaks to how much we value the situation
we are in people we are with and place we are
located …
´Proxemic refers to the distance between the
speaker and the speaker audience ..it may seen
unimportant ,but imagine a situation where the
person you are speaking with stood so far away
that you had Arise your voice …
22. Non verbal communication skill
• . Notice how your emotion feel physically : Throughout the day , as you experience a range
of emotion (anything from energized ,happy or frustrated )try to identify where you feel that
emotion within your body ..
• ´ For example:If you are feeling anxious , you might notice that your stomach feels tight.
Developing self-awareness around how your emotion affect your body can give you
greater mastery over your external presentation ..
• 2 : Be intentional about your non-verbal communication : make an effort to display positive
body language when you feel alert , open and positive about your surrounding …. Use body
language alongside verbal communication such as asking follow up question or pulling the
presenter aside to give feedback …
24. Visual
Communication
(Muzaffar)
Weather targeting customer, employees,
business partners having an easy-to-use
Visual Communication Platform.
In today’s media rich environment, it’s
more important than ever that your
communication stand out from the rest.
Effective communication is key for any
business
25. Why Visual Communication?
• Visual communication offers a clarity to your viewer
that’s impossible to achieve with words alone. Videos
in particular are an effective tool, garnering significantly
more engagement and conversions from viewers than
links, text, or still images. Because of this, using a
professional visual communication platform helps
elevate your message in an environment that
bombards users with an overwhelming amount of
content
26. Types of Visual
Communication
1. GIFs: GIFs lighten the tone of your
presentation and are a useful tool for
quickly engaging (or re-engaging) your
viewers. They’re a great way to add
humor in an otherwise mundane piece
of content, give instructions in a
product or process, and so much
more.
2: Animation: Animated videos,
images, or words grab your viewer’s
attention much more effectively than a
still or text-only image. Another power
of animation is its capability to make
complex ideas simple and relatable to
any viewer who comes across it.
27. Whiteboard
Animation
Screen Recording
Whiteboard animation is popular for how-to or
explanatory videos, typically featuring a visual display of
an unseen narrator’s verbal explanation. This is a great
medium for explainer videos that convey a product,
process, or point of view.
Screen Recording :Trying to teach tech? A screen
recording shows your viewer exactly how to do what they
need to do and how to navigate around an unfamiliar
platform or UI.
28. Image
Infographics
Image: You’ve heard that a picture
is worth a thousand words. If you
can use one to visualize your point,
do it.
Infographics offer complex
information or statistics in an easy-
to-digest, impactful way. Charts and
graphs help the viewer comprehend
data quickly, in a way that’s much
simpler than explaining with words.
29. Data
Visualization
Stock Footage or
Recorded Video
Data visualization brings infographics
to the next level. It takes huge data sets
where it can be hard to understand trends,
waves, and relationships between variables
and visualizes them to help the views zoom
out and see those relationships play out in
front of them.
Stock Footage or Recorded Video This
is what most people typically think of when
they hear the word “video.” Though use has
expanded, the classics still work.
30. Face-to-
camera video
Employed by vloggers, reviewers, executives, and educators,
this type of video is a simple recording of a talking head. While
going face-to-camera can be intimidating for some, stepping in
front of the camera has a powerful way to elicit trust, humanize
your product, and put a face to your name.
