JOB DESCRIPTION:
I have been doing the following duties during my job period.
 Managerial Expertise.
 Defines financial situation by completing quantitative analysis.
 Establish threshold for operational expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX)
through budgeting.
 Oversee OPEX and CAPEX on monthly, quarterly and annually basis ensuring compliance
with IFRS.
 Reporting of Financial Position through Management Accounts along with supporting
analysis to the directors to equip them for effective decision making.
 Conduct SWOT analysis to increase strength, overcome the weaknesses, to maximize
revenue on availing the opportunities and decrease external threats.
 Relationship Management with banks, insurance companies, leasing companies,
customers and vendors.
 Supervision of Cash flow forecasting, Credit Control, Financial Analysis and daily banking
activities.
 Co-ordinate with the directors to prepare and implement company policies, for starting of
new business activity and design organizational hierarchy.
 Co-ordinate with the directors regarding dealing with govt. officials (i.e. Labor
Department, S.E.S.S.I, E.O.B.I, D.M.C. and E.I.K. etc)
 Conduct training session of the staff of accounts department regarding changes in tax
rates / procedures through SROs/Notifications/Finance Bill.
 Responsible for changes in accounting software to ensure compliance with govt.
regulatory.
 Co-ordinate with the head of sale and marketing depart for changes in sales / marketing
strategy.
 Segment wise determination of breakeven points.
 Presentation of group financial position at the end of each month, quarter and year.
 Financial Services.
Responsible to arrange the finance from different Financial Institutions according to financial
needs of the company, those are as follows.
1. Export Refinance.
a. Post Shipment Refinance.
b. Pre Shipment Refinance.
2. Running Finance (R.F).
3. Term Finance (T.F).
4. FATR.
5. Letter of Credit (L.C)
a. Local Letter of Credit.
b. Import Letter of Credit.
6. Lease Finance (L.F).
 Finalization of Accounts.
 Responsible to make necessary adjusting entries to adjust the accounts.
 Responsible to prepare bank reconciliation.
 Responsible to reconcile the ledgers of customers and suppliers with them.
 Responsible to close the expense & revenue accounts.
 Responsible to prepare quarterly, half yearly and annually Financial Statement.
 Costing, Taxation & Compliance to the Regulators.
 Responsible to prepare cost sheet to set standards for production and pricing.
 Supervise for deduction of W.H Tax on payment to the Suppliers, Transporters and on
payment of Salaries.
 Supervise to maintain Sales Tax records.
 Responsible for E-filling of monthly and annually Sales Tax Return.
 Responsible for E-filling of W.H Tax statements on monthly and annually basis.
 Co-ordinate with I. Tax consultant for preparation annual return.
 Secretarial Work.
 Co-ordinate with company secretary for AGM.
 Co-ordinate with company secretary to prepare minutes of meeting.
 Co-ordinate with company secretary for filling of Form-A and Form-29.
 Marketing & Sales.
 Responsible to collect the orders from R.S.Ms’ on daily basis.
 Supervise to process the orders and follow up to make delivery on time.
 Check overdue outstanding report on daily basis.
 Correspondence with distributors and R.S.M to recover dues.
 Supervise to dispatch Sales Promotion material on fortnightly basis.
