3. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:
The ability of machines to imitate
intelligent human behavior is called
Artificial Intelligent.
AI researches is known as the study of
“Intelligent Agents”.
Devices that uses AI technology.
Websites that uses AI technology.
4. HISTORY OF ROBOTS:
The term robots come from a Czech word,
“Robota”, meaning "forced labor“.
The word 'robot' was first used to denote a
fictional humanoid in a 1920.
The inventor of this word was Josef Capek.
The first commercial, digital and
programmable robot was built by George
Devol in 1954 and was named the Unimate.
5. PARTS OF ROBOTS:
The Controller ‐ also known as the "brain"
which is run by a computer program.
Sensors ‐ to tell the robot about its
surroundings.
Mechanical parts ‐ motors, pistons,
grippers, wheels, and gears that make the
robot move, grab, turn, and lift.
6. ROBOTICS:
The branch of technology that deals with the design,
construction, operation, and application of robots is
called Robotics.
People who specialize in robotics are called
Roboticists.
Robots plays an important role in our educational,
industrial and economical life.
7. WHY DO WE NEED ROBOTS?
Most robots today are used to do jobs
considered too dangerous for humans.
Robots are also used in factories to build
things like cars, candy bars, and
electronics.
Robots can do anything without hesitation
but human feels hesitation in doing little
tasks.
A robot is ideal for going into a building
that has a possible bomb and it can diffuse
it.
8. SUPERIORITIES:
Robots performs dangerous
tasks that human cannot do.
They can handle repetitive and
boring tasks.
In the medical field robots are
used for complex surgeries.
Robots do not get sick; they can
work 24/7 without complaining.
9. DRAWBACKS:
Robots have no sense of emotions or
conscience.
If robots would do all work and
humans will just sit health hazards
will increase.
Too much use of robots in businesses
can increase the unemployment rate.
Robots may have AI technology but
they are not as intelligent as humans.
