Ecommerce value in Europe in 2016 expected to total €510 billion. - The Brexit decision has had a massive affect on the Sterling, which has devalued @ 10% since the decision was announced. - Market predictions are that sterling will continue to devalue against the Euro, however there are a lot of events happening in Europe in 2017 that are worth noting. - Seen by many businesses as a challenge, this also provides an opportunity for UK sellers to sell UK products cross border, which are now 10% cheaper for European consumers. - Why? Businesses that mainly import constituent parts or finished products, the fall in the pound had has an incredible affect on cost, but it should be possible to compensate this by the opportunity of an increase in the volume of sales to the Eurozone, given the relative cheapness of UK products to Eurozone consumers.
