• Currently in Kenya we have 300,000 and
NASCOP is expecting a consignment of 1.4
million later in the year.

5. Female Condom (FC2)
• FC2 is a dual protection method;
– Provides protection against both pregnancy
– STIs Including HIV
• FC2 is designed to fit inside the vagina and allows the penis to
the penis to move freely
• FC2 adjust quickly to body temp. so it feels warm and natural
• FC2 is lubricated
• FC2 is non-allergic and good for those who are allergic to latex
• Penis doesn’t need to be erect to use FC2
• The two rings add pleasure during sex

6. Who can use FC2
• People who want to protect themselves and
partners from STIs /HIV / pregnancy
• People who are HIV+ or have HIV+ partner
• Partner refusing to use male condom
• Allergy to latex
• Women who are menstruating
• Menopausal women
• Women who have had a hysterectomy
• Post delivery
