Bhutan is one of country in South Asia. It
is located between India and Tiongkok.
The local name is Druk Kul or Dragon
Country. The capital city is located in
Thimphu and the official language is
Dzongkha
GOVERNMENT
• The government in Bhutan is Constitutional
Monarchy.
• Bhutan change to be Constitutional Monarchy
since 2008.
• The lead, King Jigme Singye Wangchuk that
lead since 1972 announce to hold election in
2008.
HISTORICAL
• Bhutan has existed as early as 2000BC. Since
the 10th century, Bhutan’s political development
is strongly influenced by its religious history.
• Many years ago chaos always happen in Bhutan
until a Buddhist Dalai Lama and a military
leaders Shabdrug Ngawang Namgyal of Tibet
uniting the region. After Namgyal died in 1657,
often civil war in Bhutan.
• At 1870, Ungen Wangchuk, Tongsa governors
gained power. He signed an agreement with the
England who are technically allowed England to
responsiblefor foreign affairs of the country, thus
making Bhutan began to lose its sovereignity.
ECONOMICS
• Bhutan economics developing around 2005 and
2006, Bhutan per capita income is $1.321 which
makes it the highest in South Asia.
• Bhutan economics is one of the smallest and
least developed in the world.
• Bhutan economics based on agriculture ,
forestry and the sale of hydroelectric power to
India . the industrial sector is minimal ,
production including the type of cottage industry.
