刚 好
Example: 哥哥和我 一起去他家玩。
Person + Person + 一起 + action
Sentence structure: “一起” is always used with two or more names or pronouns or a
plural pronoun followed by an action.
2. 一起 together
Person + action , 刚好 + (related) action
Sentence structure: in most instances, “刚好” usually is at the beginning of the second
clause and follows an earlier action.
Example：我回家的时候，刚好哥哥也到家了。

Example: 他不喜欢吃中国菜，所以我们去
日本饭馆。
Example: 因为热狗不好吃，我吃三明治。
NOTE：Just like in English, “因为”(because) and “所以”(therefore/so), can also be used
seperately.
Example: 因为今天是妈妈的生日，所以我们去中国饭馆吃饭。
Because…therefore…..3. 因为。。。所以。。。

3. Example: 我 平常 在学校 吃三明治。
Sentence Structure 2: Person + time + place + action
NOTE: All time phrases can go in the same position in a Chinese sentence.
The “person” word can go before or after the time phrase.
Example: 我 平常 吃三明治。

Usually 平常or often 常常；常and the negative form 不常
Sentence structure 1: Person + time phrase + action

4. NOTE：Don’t forget, you can easily negate these by putting “不”in front of “常”
不常去 哥哥不常去看电影。
不常吃 老师不常吃三明治。
2. 常吃 老师常吃三明治。
Examples: 1. 常去 哥哥常去看电影。
常 + Verb
You can add a verb after “常” if you want to say you “often” do a particular action.
