My results show that all of the people I asked to complete my questionnaire are
within my target audience age bracket, so this means that my results overall will be
relevant towards them and what they will expect from my magazine.

As my results contained an equal amount of males and females, I could accurately
depict what would be suitable in my music magazine to include and therefore what
would attract both genders into buying my rock magazine.

These results show that most of my target audience only read magazines occasionally and
rarely ever buy them. This means that my aim will be to create a music magazine that is
interesting enough for them to buy it often and want to keep reading by including
information they would like to see and conforming to the codes and conventions that they
expect to see in a rock magazine.

My results show that the most popular genre of music in my target audience is rock. This is
encouraging for the creation of my rock magazine as this shows that my chosen genre will be
well received by them as rock is comparably more enjoyable than any other genre of music
for my target audience.

What sounds most suitable for a
rock magazine masthead?
When brainstorming what kind of masthead I should have for my music magazine, I tried to
create ones that were suitable to my chosen genre of rock. The most favourable masthead
with my target audience was Revolution therefore I will use it when producing my magazine
as it appeals to them the most.

What attracts you to buy a music
magazine the most?
For my target audience, the most attractive thing to them in buying a music magazine is the
inclusion of their favourite band or artist. This means that the most important thing when
producing my rock magazine is to have a popular band or artist on the front cover as they
will appeal to my target audience and encourage them to buy and read my magazine.

appeal to you the most?

My results have shown that the most popular female rock artist with my target audience is
Hayley Williams. This will be significant in the creation of my music magazine as I will place
her on my front cover as the main image so that she will be the first thing that my target
audience see when looking at my magazine in the hopes that they will be interested in
reading it.

This result shows that the colours my target audience think would appeal to both a female
and male audience the most is black and red. I agree with these choices as they are the
most stereotyped colours associated with the rock music genre so therefore I will use them
in my colour scheme for my magazine across the 4 pages.

My results show that all of the people I asked to complete my questionnaire are within my target audience age bracket, so this means that my results overall will be relevant towards them and what they will expect from my magazine.

This is encouraging for the creation of my rock magazine as this shows that my chosen genre will be well received by them as rock is comparably more enjoyable than any other genre of music for my target audience.

When brainstorming what kind of masthead I should have for my music magazine, I tried to create ones that were suitable to my chosen genre of rock. The most favourable masthead with my target audience was Revolution therefore I will use it when producing my magazine as it appeals to them the most.
