Project da Vinci: Evaluation
The aim of Project da Vinci was to use all the skills I have acquired to this point and lead and
develop 4 character concepts to be used by Ubisoft in the future release title Renaissance.
Renaissance would contain many of the elements you would see in their blockbuster series
Assassins creed with other sequences containing the polymath in his anatomical and
creative studies, this would give the player a feel for what it was like to live in the age of the
Italian renaissance as one of the world’s most profound individuals.
For my first task I needed to research different forms of media, which featured aspects of
the Renaissance and what kind of affect it had on the early 14-15th century, whilst revising
Davinci’s history and anatomical studies.
I collected numerous different forms of research about both the Italian renaissance,
Davinci’s studies, how it was implemented into past games and films it has inspired.
I was very happy with the work and effort I put in to this task and if I were to improve
anything I would add a section for in depth about the developer of the titles and their
market.
