1.
2. Process by which the experience of
everyday life, marked by the diffusion
of commodities and ideas, is
becoming standardized around the
world. The process that is “super
charging” the interaction and
integration of cultures, politics,
business and intellectual elements
around world.
3.
The action or process of teaching
someone especially in a school,
college, or university
the knowledge, skill, and
understanding that you get from
attending a school, college, or
university.
4. Technology: (trend)
The use of science in industry, engineering, etc., to invent useful
things or to solve problems. A machine, piece of equipment, method,
etc., that is created by technology.
I ranked this top on my list, technology is moving
so rapidly that by the time one learns a new
system or gadget it is already phasing out for a
new updated version. It is imperative that students
stay abreast with moving technology before
entering the work force.

5. Communication: (trend)
The act or process of communicating; fact of
being communicated. The imparting or
interchange of thoughts, opinions, or
information by speech, writing, or signs.
I ranked communication second. The globalization of commerce or
industries means that manufacturing is expanding rapidly. Though
english is primarily the language used, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish
are subsequently replacing english in the 21st century. Students must
grasp the communication trend to be competitive.

6. Skill-(challenge)
A craft, trade, or job requiring manual
dexterity or special training in which a
person has competence and experience.
I ranked this third. College ready is the primary
push as teachers for our students, but sometimes
we under estimate the power or the benefit of a
technical or trade school as the answer. Book
smart, financially savy, and practiced in theory are
great, but we also need the wrench turners.

7. Progress-(issue)
Developmental activity in science, technology,
etc., especially with reference to the
commercial opportunities created thereby or
to the promotion of the material well-being of
the public through the goods, techniques, or
facilities created.
Ranked fourth. The United States is falling behind in the
rankings dealing with education. The ability for students
to keep up with the world is becoming more difficult and
un-achievable. Germany, China, and Japan are producing
a more prepared work force than the U.S.

8. Data: (trend)
Facts or information used usually to
calculate, analyze, or plan something
I ranked data fifth. Along with technology, the
data gathering, calculating, and analyzing will
change rapidly in the 21st century.
