1. Position Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Contract: 1 year+ with possibility of extension
Requirement:
• Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business
requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents,
and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in
the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of
tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Required Skills:
• Core Java, Angular, prefers (Full stack- Angular 2.0, Re-Ex, Ember)
• Background in REST services
• Database knowledge
• Git Hub
Preferred Experience:
• Spark- Java, Hadoop, Big Data
• 4 to 7 years’ experience with Java programming language
• Integration testing- Junit, SVN.
• Database concepts and connectivity: SQL and Oracle based databases- data modeling,
creating tables, queries, scripts
• High Volume environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills, Comfortable speaking in front of teams and able
to facilitate discussions.
• Agile Environment
• Micro services, Cloud based infrastructure, test automation and build processes is a
Plus
Education:
• Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience.
