Nesh Mucibabic, PE was selected to lead design of 36 MGD Rock Creek Excess Flow Pump station to temporary
divert peak sanitary flows from existing 54 " Interceptor to two 5 MG tanks, and release stored flows in controlled
manner back to the interceptor and further to Rock Creek Water Treatment Plant, as soon as peak flows decreases
below WTP Capacity. By proposed diversion, planned capacity upgrades of the treatment plant was deferred. Nesh
provided design of dry well/wet well pump station with 5 submersible pumps and self-cleaning wet well, with wet
well drain pump, diversion and flow control structures, force main, overflow lines, diversion valves and was
responsible for diversion system hydrology and hydraulic calculations and operation of this sanitary diversion.
