• Dr. Kalam is the first
educational thinker who
envisioned the idea of
training students to
become autonomous
learners so that they will
remain as lifelong learners.
• Kalam writes poems in
Tamil and English .
Seventeen of his poems
were translated into
English and published in
1994 as a book entitled
“My Journey”.
