Service  and  Support  Overview
We  have  focused  the  last  ten  years  researching  the  mentality  of  elite  
athletes  and  how  that  translates  to  performance  on  and  off  the  field.
As  a  result,  Fountainhead  Training  and  Insight  have  developed  an  
holistic  approach  to  athlete  development,  where  messaging  on  habit  
and  goal  setting  create  a  greater  understanding  of  identity  inside  and  
out  of  the  sporting  arena.  The  effect  of  this  is  to  develop  a  stronger  
athlete  better  equipped  to  deliver  high  class  consistent  performances.  
This  is  also  at  the  core  of  our  unique  transition  strategy.  
We  are  now  translating  this  attitude  of  excellence  through  habit  to  the  
business  world.  The  motivators  of  elite  performance  are  equally  
applicable  to  business  as  sports.

Case  in  Point  –
The  addition  of  behavioral  awareness  to  an  environment  of  
excellence  through  habit  allows  coaches/line  managers    to  
understand  some  of  the  key  challenges  in  delivering  high  quality  
performance  guidance.  It  is  no  longer  simply  about  trying  your  
hardest  or  being  the  best  you  can  be.  
Where  is  the  next  advantage  going  to  come  from?
The  New  Zealand  Rugby  Union  identified  in  2007  ,having  failed  
at  yet  another  World  Cup,  that  change  was  necessary  to  be  
successful.  They  were  happy  with  their  physically  and  technical  
preparation  but  recognized  that  distractions  within  the  squad  and  
a  lack  of  collective  engagement  had  cost  them  ultimate  success.
Their  reaction?    They  concentrated    their  next  quadrennial  
development  plan  on  the  lifestyle  balance  of  their  players  
alongside  their  physical  preparation.  They  focused  on  building  
an  environment  of  excellence  through  habit.  They  introduced  a  
Mental  Skills  Coach  who  was  not  there  simply  to  tell  them  to  
focus  but  to  listen  to  their  issues  and  be  a  conduit  to  the  high  
performance  coaching  staff.  They  have  fine  tuned  this  strategy  
over  the  last  8  years  culminating  in  back  to  back  Rugby  World  
Cup  triumphs.

Case  in  Point  – The  addition  of  behavioral  awareness  to  an  environment  of   excellence  through  habit  allows  coaches/line  managers    to   understand  some  of  the  key  challenges  in  delivering  high  quality   performance  guidance.  It  is  no  longer  simply  about  trying  your   hardest  or  being  the  best  you  can  be.   Where  is  the  next  advantage  going  to  come  from? The  New  Zealand  Rugby  Union  identified  in  2007  ,having  failed   at  yet  another  World  Cup,  that  change  was  necessary  to  be   successful.  They  were  happy  with  their  physically  and  technical   preparation  but  recognized  that  distractions  within  the  squad  and   a  lack  of  collective  engagement  had  cost  them  ultimate  success.
