This document presents research on augmented reality for printed photo books using mobile phones. The researchers conducted a user study with 14 participants to evaluate object-centric and display-centric designs for alignment and region selection tasks. Results showed the object-centric design was faster and less difficult to use. The researchers conclude information should be presented object-centrically but input elements should not, and highlighting is important. Early user involvement is also key.
