2. Bill and Melinda Gates
• Bill and Melinda Gates are the founders of the
Global Health programme.
• They set up this organisation in hopes of
helping people by alleviating illnesses such as
malaria, HIV, tuberculosis, etc, through the
use of advanced technology. They do this by
creating vaccines and treating those with
these illnesses.

3. Bill and Melinda Gates
• They mostly help those in poorer
countries, where people have lack of
food, sanitisation and of course, proper
medication. They also help these people
financially aside from in health.
• They are also extremely renowned
people, and have even went to the
Whitehouse to speak somewhere in mid
October 2010.

4. History and Impact of their venture
• The Global Health Programme started in 1994,
and have used a total of USD 26 194 000 000
to help these people.
• As of now, the total Number of employees is
approximately 980, Asset trust endowment
around $33.5 billion and in 2010, grant
payment$ was 2.6 billion.

5. History and Impact of their venture
• The Global Health Programme has contributed
widely to countries such as Africa, Asia, Europe
etc. (Mostly helping in curing and prevention of
illnesses)
• Also, from the many projects they have held, such
as the recent strategic change in the way they are
countering polio, we can tell that this venture
that the social entrepreneurs set up had a great
impact on countries that they have helped.
