5. THEME-
The poem talks about how an ice cream man brings joy and happiness during the sizzling heat of
the summer days . He brings variety of ice cream in his cart. He also bring fizz drinks to snuff off
the thirst of children .the ice cream man becomes everyone’s favourite during summer.

8. Explanation -
• In the first stanza, the poet says that it is summertime and the city is

11. EXPLANATION
• In this stanza, the poet says that the ice-cream man is a source of joy
and happiness to everyone in this scorching heat. It is wonderful and

brown and white creamy ice-cream under his big round umbrella.

man has in hid cart like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry . The ice
