Can you transition across and become a Biosphere Business and really leverage the opportunity… A Biosphere Business is one that lives and breathes the Biosphere values and can proudly talk about the Biosphere and environmental sustainability b/c they ‘walk the talk’… It is NOT an accreditation scheme nor a marketing gimmick!

- eco Biz is a program run by the Dept. of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) to assist businesses to reduce their energy, water and waste. This also helps your business bottom line. Qld. Printing Nambour has made energy savings of 33% after participating in the eco Biz program. When your business has completed the audit process of your energy, water and waste use and implemented efficiency measures, you become and ecoBiz partner and can use the eco Biz logo as a marketing tool for your business. If yupo wpu.,d prefer to do this audit process as part of a group, DERM also has a Climate Smart Business Cluster program or eco Biz for groups where you can undertake this process with a small group of other businesses and be assisted by an eco Biz facilitator.
