means?

7. 1. Reduce
• Use less resulting in smaller amount of waste.
• Conserve (save) energy, electric and water
supply.
• Use only when you need it.
• Say no to plastic bags!

8. 2. Reuse
• Do not throw away things that still can be
used.
• Pass those things on to others who could use
them too! Remember, one man's trash is
another man's treasure!

9. 3. Recycle
• To process old, used items so that the
materials can be used to make new products.
• Examples of things that are often recycled are
glass, plastic, newspapers, aluminum
cans, used motor oil, and batteries.
• All of these are called recyclables.

10. Collect recyclables and send them to
the recycling centre
