7. AUGMENTED REALITY
The use of augmented reality in social media will continue to  flourish in
2019. It began with Snapchat, who have successfully deployed AR in
many sophisticated and fun ways. A very basic example would be the
filters they offer, which now even allows users to create their own. The
most prominent feature would be Snapchat’s  Shoppable AR with “Buy
Now”, “Watch” or “Install Now” button to branded Lenses, enabling every
branded Snapchat selfie into a potential purchase, video views or an app
download.
Brands who invest in AR can stand
