Using more than 750 words, write an essay of how an online business can use social
network to improve customer awareness of their business, and how social network
can help businesses gather market intelligence about what customers want from their
business.
Having levelled the playing field when it comes to marketing and communication, our
business can now use social media to tell our story, and demonstrate our expertise on a
global scale in real time with very little cost. Here they are how we can use social media
channels like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and weChat to grow our audience and
customer base, and build our brand and business in a strategic way.
As traditional methods of marketing to customers like advertising, or direct mail become less
and less effective, businesses are turning to social mediums to connect in positive ways with
consumers and the people who influence them. The key to social media success is to not
get hung up on the tools and technology but to focus on how we can use them more
effectively to develop and grow relationships with customers and influencers. Not only that, it
also helps us to communicate with our community of followers, advocates and supporters to
gain feedback and meet their requirements for further awareness. For addition, a social
network it can create content with the customer in mind which is means it needs to be useful,
relevant and add value to people's lives. It could simply be information that answers people’s
questions or satisfies a need they have relevant to our business, or it may be more around
providing ‘thought leadership’ and demonstrating our knowledge and expertise. An example
of what this would look like an accountancy practice that publishes a blog post outlining its
top tips on how to approach end-of-financial-year tax issues Once we create our content, it is
then simply a matter of publishing it to one or more of the myriad of platforms available
which is best suited to our business needs and sharing the links with our followers on social
networks by why we should always be building our presence on these networks as they
make for excellent content distributors.

For further explanation, many businesses use market intelligence to put their business
intelligence in context. In general, business intelligence refers to broader information set
about customers and product lines, such as how many products were shipped, the total
number of sales in a month and other transactions occurring within a business. In contrast,
market intelligence focuses on specific classes of customers, including demographic and
geographic information and what they buy, all of which can help inform an analysis of
business intelligence. Market intelligence also takes into account what is happening with the
competition, which business intelligence ignores altogether. Apart from the market
intelligence, it can develop what customer wants through the social networks by defining
goals and processes which mean market intelligence answers concrete questions about
current and potential customers and competitors, and helps the company determine internal
goals like the most patterns of products recently purchased by customers.
Additionally, through the marketing approaches, businesses are constantly finding new ways
to implement their marketing strategies through social media. Prior to the development of
social media platforms, businesses relied on fliers sent through the mail, television
commercials and word of mouth. While these marketing tactics are still useful, businesses
can now use social media to instantly inform consumers about sales, the arrival of new
products and exclusive promotions. Consumers can connect with their favourite retailers
online to stay informed about new developments. Not only that, business owners can use
one of the many automated social media posting tools available. Some offer limited free
introductory platforms, which allow us to post to one or two sites automatically at no charge.
Paid access enables us to post to multiple sites. Also, we can use such tools to link social
