Technical Job Description:
Data Warehouse Design methodologies and architecture, Design and Data
Modeling, Data Warehousing experience utilizing OLAP toolset, proven XML
programming, ETL experience, including Java BI tools.
Database: Domain Modeling, SQL (DDL & DML) and related tools. PL/SQL an
advantage. Oracle Data Integration suite, including ODI, Oracle Data Quality and/or
Oracle Data Profiler, working with multiple source/target systems such as Oracle,
MS SQL Server, XML files, flat files, MS Access/Excel documents.
Warehouse and ETL processes and tools such as ODI, Data Stage, Oracle Business
Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Advanced level of writing stored
procedures, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance
bottlenecks
Application Architecture: Knowledge of Tiered Designs, patterns where relevant.
Ability to make assessments and informed design decisions that consider
Development, Quality Assurance and Technology Operations (Configuration, etc.)
SDLC: Analysis, enhancements, Version Control, releases, documentation,
Integration Testing. Ability to facilitate system reviews, conduct business process
analysis and functional gap analysis
Experience in Applications Services, Extensive experience in outsource
environments with 6 to10 years relevant experience. Management of application
development life cycle.
