13. First Step: A Public Committee

•On October 14, 2013 the Minister of Finance appointed a public committee for
gender budgeting
Activity
•The committee put together a set of guidelines for mainstreaming gender
considerations in the budget process
Resolution
•The committee recommended:
•To perform gender analysis of government expenditure and revenues
•The Budget Department and the PMO will provide methodological guidance
•The analysis will be included in the annual Budget Law proposal, and will
gradually reach 100% coverage according to a set schedule
