First Step: A Public Committee Source: MoF Establishment •On October 14, 2013 the Minister of Finance appointed a public committee for gender budgeting Activity •The committee put together a set of guidelines for mainstreaming gender considerations in the budget process Resolution •The committee recommended: •To perform gender analysis of government expenditure and revenues •The Budget Department and the PMO will provide methodological guidance •The analysis will be included in the annual Budget Law proposal, and will gradually reach 100% coverage according to a set schedule

Key Benchmark: Government Decision no. 2084 Source: MoF, PMO In 2015, 10% of the budget would be gender- analyzed In 2016, it grows to 40% In 2017, 70% By 2018, 100% of the national budget would be analyzed On October 7th, 2014, the government decided to adopt the recommendations of the gender budget committee, and set the following schedule:
