Direct Assistance
Our Aim


To provide socio-economic security, legal
and moral support services and educational
opportunities for women and children
victims of hazardous socio-economic
situations.
Our Aim


To offer both preventive health
and curative medical services to
the elderly, mentally and/or
physically disabled, socioeconomically disadvantaged, and
any other members of the
community who cannot afford
health care services.
Our Aim D-Foundation:


To provide adequate knowledge to rural
communities about conservation of
environmental & ecological resources and
to foster traditional agricultural practices
that help preserve biodiversity (through
environmental pollution control
programs, organic farming education
programs, etc.).
Our Aim D-Foundation:


To empower young adults currently
residing in Government Destitute
Homes – through occupational and
literacy education as well as marriage
and employment programs – to
reintegrate into their communities,
leading sustainable and fulfilling
lives.
Our Aim D-Foundation:


To implement agricultural
activities by adopting
innovative technologies for
sustainable rural development
and to generate employment
opportunities for rural
farmers.
Kaushambi Village Project
• The Kaushambi Village
Project is an undertaking by
members of the DFoundation NGO to help
protect a site of enormous
historical importance, and to
use this site to benefit the
disadvantaged and starving
people of the surrounding
area. It is an effort to
purchase a 15,000m2 site
with ancient links to the
beginnings of Buddhism and
use it for the good of the
local people.
Child labour and inmate release
• There are many kinds of child
labour in India. Poor families
may be forced to sell their
children into hard labour;
other children take on jobs
to help their family survive.
D. Foundation works to free
children from all kinds of
labour into education while
also supporting their families.
Outreach and direct assistance
• Slum and street people live with
little or no shelter, they have no
access to water, care or even
food. Many commit suicide,
knowing there will be no
improvement and survival is
uncertain. D-Foundation
provides emergency and longterm direct assistance as well as
legal support to individuals and
families.
