1. PROFILE SUMMARY
Ola is an experienced professional and an erudite scholar with
a first degree with honors in Economics (B.Sc. Hons) and a
merit award winner in Monetary Economics. She also has
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from both
Cornell University in New York, USA, and Queens University,
Ontario, Canada. Ola is the first Certified Business Analysis
Professional (CBAP®) in the province of Alberta from the
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) and also a
certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the
Project Management Institute (PMI).
She has over fifteen years’ experience in Business Analysis,
Strategy and Enterprise Analysis, SharePoint 2013, Client
engagement, User Acceptance Testing, Requirements
Elicitation, Business Value, Performance Measurements
& KPIs, Business Consulting, Workshop Facilitation,
Training, Project Management, and IT project delivery.
Driven to deliver value that matter to business clients, Ola
ensures alignment between business needs and solution
delivery with focus on business value. Her passion stems from
helping the business identify their real needs and deliver
solution that meets these needs.
In addition, she has local and international experience in Africa
and North America markets. Specifically, Ola has about 10
years of relevant experience in the Canadian Oil and gas
industry, helping to facilitate business solutions by aligning
strategic goals with information technology to deliver business
value.
Ola leads client engagements for strategic IT projects in one
of Canada’s major oil and Gas Company in Calgary, where
she helps to articulate business needs and coordinate the
delivery of IT solutions that meet these needs. She is also
responsible for client management in addition to providing
management analytics reporting and dashboard to enhance
informed business decisions.
Ola is passionate about knowledge transfer. As a Business
Analysis instructor, she continues to see ways to share her
knowledge and enhance the practice of Business Analysis and
foster strategic thinking.
An active member of the International Institute of Business
Analysis (IIBA®), Ola was on the IIBA Calgary Chapter board
from 2007-2013 as the Vice President, Member Services. She
was also a member of the IIBA® Chapter Growth Committee
and a contributor to the IIBA Managing Business Analysts
Book.
She is currently on the Calgary IIBA Advisory board.
She likes constructive networking and as a member reputable
professional associations including the Women of Influence
Association, Calgary Chapter, she continues to enhance her
skills, learn leading trends in the industry in addition to
developing meaningful and valuable connections.
Asides her professional life, Ola is passionate about giving
back, she is involved in many local and international charities,
including Mustard Seed, Salvation Army, Mercy Ship and
Gentle Hands
