Yalda: The Wear It! campaign produced a new cold weather boating campaign to further reach recreational boaters, hunters and anglers about the importance of water safety during the winter and early spring. We developed three print and digital PSAs to resonate with anglers, hunters and paddlers (Strategy 2.4). We have also developed a radio PSA script for a :30 second English spot that was also translated and produced in Spanish (Strategy 2.6). Please visit SafeBoatingCampaign.com to download your PSAs for your own boating safety efforts.
Yalda: In 2014, the NSBC produced a new bilingual PSA, “Love the Life – Wear It!” sharing the experience of two families and a dog as they spend the day boating and fishing. It was produced at the Eckerd College Waterfront Program in St. Petersburg, Florida, with the support of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 7-2, Division 7. PSA photos and :15 and :30 PSA videos are available.
