Simpel gezegd: het doel is het verplaatsen van zoveel mogelijk
gewicht met betrekking tot een vastgesteld aantal herhalingen.

Als we praten over ‘power’ training dan hebben we het over rekruteren
in tijd.
Simpel gezegd: het doel is het zo snel mogelijk kunnen verplaatsen
van een bepaald gewicht over een bepaalde afstand.

Power VS Strength
De definitie van power is dus work / time. Dus hoe snel kan iemand
een massa over een bepaalde afstand verplaatsen.
Work kan worden vertaald naar force x distance, oftewel het leveren
van kracht over een bepaalde afstand.
WORK = FORCE x DISTANCE
POWER = WORK / TIME
POWER = FORCE x DISTANCE / TIME

Tissue Tolerance
Een kilo niet altijd een kilo. Hiermee wordt bedoeld dat dit sterk situatie
afhankelijk is.
Eenmaal in beweging, zullen veranderingen in de bewegingssnelheid
zorgen voor een veranderend gewicht.

Tissue Tolerance
Sir Isaac Newton heeft aangetoond dat een veranderende kracht
proportioneel is aan de massa (gewicht) die opgetild wordt,
vermenigvuldigd met de acceleratie (snelheidsverandering).
F = ma, “F” is de force, ofwel kracht, “m” is de massa en “a” de
acceleratie.
De acceleratie verandert wanneer de snelheid van bewegen
verandert.
Om grotere snelheden te bereiken, is een grotere acceleratie nodig.
