1. Q: If you were an educator. Would you accept a research on a student had gotten from
a wiki as viable source?
A: No I wont accept a reasearch on a student had gotten from a wiki because Wiki is
increasingly used by people in the academic community, from first-year to professors, as
the easiest source of information about anything and everything. However, citation of
wiki in research papers may not be considered acceptable, because wiki is not a
creditable source.
2. Q: As a student, would you rely on a wiki for information for an assignment?
A: As student, I can use wiki as a starting place to gather preliminary information, but I
will not recite wiki as a source in scholary work. I want to find other, more reliable and
scholary sources for my academic work.
3. Q: Can you see wiki’s developing into a more prominent internet tool?
A: Yes because Wiki has frequently been questioned and often assessed. The reliability
has been tested statistically, through comparative review, analysis of the historical
patterns, and Incidents of conflicted editing, and the use of wiki for inserting false,
defamatory or biased statements into biographies have attracted publicity.
