Analysis and Targeting
Attrition Risk Matrix is the ideal tool to categorize, quantify and analyze a student
body’s risk for departure. An attrition Risk Matrix will indicate whether or not ideal or
highly valued students will be retained. After using the Matrix to identify which
individuals are at the highest risk for leaving a school, specific and individualized
interventions can be made to retain these student or demographic groups. College or
program wide initiatives can also be created to reduce attrition overall.
