Responsibilities
Administrative assistant/hospital associate responsibilities include: provide administrative
support for office and physicians in medical practice; complete daily billing for 15 physicians
and 7 nurse practitioners; resolve daily billing reports; ensure that all physicians and
practitioners are current in enrollment in health insurance plans; ensure that physicians complete
all applicable license renewals and required training courses; function as clinical research
coordinator for research studies conducted by the medical practice.
Research coordinator responsibilities include: attend investigator meetings, research coordinator
meetings and follow-up meetings to discuss and develop study protocol and research budget;
submission of initial application, continuing review documents, study close-out forms, and other
relevant documents to Institutional Review Board and Sponsors/CROs; assist principal
investigators and sub-investigators in obtaining informed consent; ensure randomization of study
