1. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE MIYALY DEPOSIT
• The Miyaly deposit was discovered in 1949. It is located in the Zharma region of the East Kazakhstan
region. Ust-Kamenogorsk city 90 km to the east, Semipalatinsk city - 120 km north-west, Charsk city
- 60 km south-west. The nearest railway. station - Charskaya. The nearest settlements are the
settlement of the former mine Oktyabrsky, 18 km to the south-west, pos. Chalobay and the village.
Auezov, 40 km to the south-east.
• An asphalt road Ust-Kamenogorsk - Semipalatinsk runs 10-20 km north-west of the deposit, with
which the site is connected by a dirt road (20 km).
• The Bakyrchik and Bolshevik deposits are being developed in the area of operations.
• The Kyzyl-Su River flows 4 km south-west of the TMO Miyaly field. It has a maximum water flow in
spring floods, up to 25 m3 / sec. There is also a sufficient amount of water at the site of work in the
worked out pits.
• A high-voltage power transmission line with a voltage of 10 thousand volts was laid to the central
part of the Miyaly field. The last 3 km of the line are missing.
• Harmful impurities, such as arsenic, carbon, alumina, antimony, are found in the ores of the deposit
in negligible quantities and can practically not affect the quality of ore processing.
• All ore bodies are exposed to the surface. The development of the deposit was carried out by an
open-pit method, ore processing was carried out by the heap leaching method.
• The last development of the Miyaly deposit began in 1999 and ended in 2006.
• On the territory of the deposit there are more than 5 million tons of technogenic mineral
formations (TMF).

2. Samir-Altyn LLP on 20.04.2018 received a contract for 11 years for the extraction of minerals from man-made
mineral formations (TMO) of the Miyaly deposit in the East Kazakhstan region.
The reserves were approved by the State Reserves Committee on April 14, 2017 in the amount of:
for category C - 849.27 kg (for category C1 - 285.88 kg, C2 - 563.39 kg),
in category P1 - 1153.02 kg.
The volume of all TMO is 5,022,335 tons.

6 overburden dumps - 2.5 million tons
Average grade - 0.47 g / t
The ores are quartz-veined, oxidized. Gold is thin, free
Beneficiation method - Leaching. (Extract 66%).

gold with an average content of 1.41 g / t. The inferred resources of primary ores were estimated by JV
Charaltyn during geological exploration at the Miyaly deposit in the period 1997-2001 and are 33 for the ore
body, down to a depth of 100 m, with a cut-off grade of 1 g / t and an average gold grade of 3 , 2g / t - 2.75 t of
gold).
