Heng 'Patrick' Luo is a doctoral student in the Department of Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation (IDD&E) of Syracuse University. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and a master’s degree in applied linguistics. His current research interests include: the integral relationship between emerging technologies and instructional design theories, application of case-based method in online instruction, and interactivity in ICT-supported learning system design. He was awarded the Syracuse University Graduate Fellowship in 2008.
