via identification of other parties for potential indemnification, and administering efforts to reimburse affected
health insurers.
• Investigated and managed successful dispositions of large loss claims of up to $1 million against the Great
Atlantic & Pacific Team Company (A & P) – driving initiatives effective in determining liability exposure,
identifying and prosecuting instances of fraud, mediating hundreds of cases, negotiating settlements with
claimants and attorneys, collaborating with attorneys on trial strategy development and execution, and
observing juries and determining cases permitted to proceed to jury verdict, establishing a record of success in
the latter instance with 16 of 17 jury verdicts finding no fault on the part of A & P.
