54. September Happy Hour
Peace Talk
What does economic justice look like in
action here in the Rogue Valley?
Defending access to the basics–housing
and vital services–for our community.
In her role as Communications Director
at Project REconomy, Michelle Glass
tells the real story of how big banks are
moving trillions out of our communities
to Wall Street, while taking away these
very basics. From driving down home
values for all mortgages to the growing
number of underwater homeowners, to
wrongful foreclosures, rising rents,
budget cuts and stretched safety nets,
we are all impacted. And we are
fighting back. Join us for a discussion
about local impacts and local solutions
to defend justice and safeguard the
future for our valley.
