3. OUR ACTIVITY
Proef International covers all Proef Group companies which operate across borders in assorted
activities that characterize us. The main countries where the Group has been developing some
activities are: Morocco, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa and Spain .
100% owned by Proef, SGPS, S.A., Proef International operates in areas such as Electricity,
Telecommunications and Renewable Energies, providing services of recognized quality which
envelop the entire value chain.
Its main action principle is the quality that shows in the ability to turn knowledge into Value for
Customers.
In fact, those who acquire this type of solutions, make it from an investment perspective, hoping
its returning. It is our duty to assure it!
We strive and challenge ourselves daily to achieve our goals and exceed the expectations of our
customers and shareholders.
We explore our activity in the following areas:

• Consulting
In each of these areas we intend to cover up the value chain in order to ensure our customers all
the levels of satisfaction and quality they require. Thus, we guarantee the best final result of the

4. TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Currently, our business covers three areas in the
telecommunications sector (Services, Consulting and Product)
and it is specialized in Fixed, Mobile, Core, and Next Generation
Mobile
Networks. And so, as mentioned, we are able to cover end-to-end
needs of our customers. We cover all tasks from planning to
maintenance, through Engineering, Optimization, Rollout,
Integration, Management and O & M.
Our portfolio is rich and is constantly updated so it can meet the
needs and demands of the market; we’ve worked to be perceived
as the privileged partner.
NGN
Among the many projects already undertaken and ongoing, we
can specify some projects as a benchmark of our capabilities:
• New Generation Network(NGN) - FTTH/FTTN Vodafone – we
are responsible for planning, design, deployment and
maintenance of FTTH and FTTN Vodafone project.
Wireline
• Mobile - Deployment and maintenance of radio stations, BSC
and MSC for TMN and Vodafone - Proef Group has the
responsibility, on an turn-key solution, of radio planning,
licensing, civil works, energy, installation and commissioning.
We also have the responsibility for preventive and corrective
maintenance on Mobile Network.
• Drop Client FTTH - Fiber Network - Set up and service
commissioning of fiber client to Portugal Telecom and
Vodafone.
• Unitel Angola - We are responsible for all activity deployment
of GSM/UMTS stations of Unitel. Our business ranges from the
provision of infrastructure by placing the service, the logistics
and real state tasks that are guaranteed.

5. ENERGY
In the electricity sector we are a company specialized in
infrastructure, energy production, energy transmission lines
(LMAT 150 KV, 220 KV and 400 KV) substations, power

distribution network (HV, MV and LV) and Work in tension (TET).
We organize our business into three sections: Services, Products
and Consulting. Thus, we cover the entire value chain of the draft
Electricity. We look at developments in the sector and the
requirement of our customers so our portfolio is a living element,
because only then we can fight to be perceived as the privileged
partner.
Substations
Among the many projects already undertaken and ongoing, we
can enumerate some projects as a benchmark of our capabilities:
• Line of MAT between Portimão and Tavira
REN delegated to Proef Group the supply of materials and service
and set up of 400kV line between Portimão and Tavira. This
project was a line extension of 33 km with 80 double-beam
supports.
TET
• Continuous Contract with EDP
EDP signed, for five years, a contract with Proef Group for the
construction, preservation and maintenance of its infrastructure.
With this contract Proef Group becomes a reference.
During 2009,Proef Group secured the following qualifications:

6. RENEWABLE ENERGIES
Acting in strict cooperation with the Proef Renewable Energy,
Proef International positions itself clearly in this sector through
the design, construction, operation and maintenance of
Wind Farm
integrated solutions for energy production from renewable
sources, with particular emphasis on the advantages of wind
(wind), solar (photovoltaic / solar electric term), water (mini
hydro) and biomass (central of forest biomass and production of
pellets).
The Proef International is specialized in EPC projects (Engineering,
Photovoltaic
Procurement and Construction), it takes full responsibility from
the moment of conception until the entry into production, which

comprises the Design Project, Implementation Project,
Management Project, insurance, financial ability and all the tasks
of deployment and service availability to the project. Thus, it
involves its experience and knowledge along the value chain of
the project, ensuring the best solutions, deadlines and partners,

releasing the project owner to prepare its operation.
Among the many projects already developed and ongoing we list
some of our projects as a reference of our capabilities:
• Parque Eólico do Zibreiro
This is a project implemented by Proef Group, it has a set up
capacity of 8MW, and the energy produced is 18GWh/year.
• Parque Eólico Vieira Cabreira
This is a work executed by Proef Group, with set up capacity of
1MW, annually producing 2.1 GWh.
• Parque Solar Fotovoltaico de Aználcollar
This is a project undertaken by Paeflux (our subsidiary in Spain)
where all the coordination, implementation and management are
Eurico’s Ferreira responsibility.
• Micro-generation
Design, supply and set up of micro-generation solutions are one
of the realities of Proef Group; currently, we have over 420KW in
production.
Our presence in the renewable energy sector and our desire to
grow requires us to have a dynamic portfolio that covers the
areas of consulting, products and services.

7. CONSULTING
We develop Consultancy, at international level, in
Telecommunications and Energy sectors.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Audit – we perform process and network audits under
operational, safety and process point of view;
• Advising – we have a senior team prepared to advise you on
decision making, business and contract management;
• Consultancy – our team counts with senior elements prepared
to help on the daily basis activity of your organization;
• Engineering – we are able to work with you on network
design, test performance, definition of QoS parameters,
reports definition, RFP production, identify the best solution
and equipment for you;
• Outsourcing – we have experience in task and teams
outsourcing, this will allow you to optimize your organization in
terms of budget and operations;
• Training – based on our team experience, training is a natural
service for us and a value added service for you.
Product
• Solutions design – today´s market requires that we try to
innovate and to introduce new products. This is where we can
collaborate and make the difference, because we have a team
dedicated to solutions/products design for the
telecommunications and energy sectors.
